Ballarat Pottery Bus Tour to the Warrandyte Pottery Expo
Book your seat HERE
ClayMotion is excited to be hosting our first pottery bus tour from Ballarat to this years Warrandyte Pottery Expo on Sunday 23rd February.
Hosted on the beautiful Warrandyte riverbank, the Expo, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is hosting 70 Australian ceramic artists and two international artists – John Higgins and Richard Phethean.
You will have the opportunity to chat with these artists and invest in their unique artworks.
In the wake of Australia’s devastating bushfires this year the expo is also supporting relief charities with potters exhibiting/demonstrating donating pots in a specially set-up fundraising tent.
The Expo has a huge range of fun activities on the day for all ages including:
Music Program all day Sunday.
TENT TALKS with Slow Clay to inform and inspire.
Manningham Arts Centre and Clayworks will offer children’s clay workshops all weekend and wheel throwing demonstrations for the public.
“Cups to Go” – cups handmade by exhibitors for sale with your coffee to enjoy with freshly filled baguettes from Warrandyte’s cafe “Now and Not Yet” or delicious crepes and salads from Stephane le Grand and Ice creams and smoothies available from Max and Marilyn at Ice Indulgence – this is what we will have for lunch! YUM!
On our journey to Warrandyte we will stop mid-point at the Jolly Miller Cafe for a morning tea break, where you can choose from Coffee, Tea or hot chocolate and a range of muffins and slices.
Morning Tea is included in the bus tour fee.
Lunch at the Expo and dinner at The Grand Hotel in Warrandyte are not included.
