This Gouache Paint at Home Kit contains 5 x 23ml tubes of Talens gouache paint, a set of round art brushes, a paint palette and an A4 visual journal.
The paint colours are olive green, veridian, natural grey, raw umber and burnt umber. Talens is a high quality artist paint brand.
The brushes are size 1 through to 12.
The journal contains 80 pages of acid free 115gsm paper.
A paint palette is also included to mix your paints.
Gouache Paint is like a cross between water colour and acrylic paints and is a water-soluble and opaque so the white of the paper surface does not show through. It is a tad chalkier than traditional watercolor and absorbs light rather than reflects it. When diluted with water it still possesses a strong colored pigment. This unique paint dries darker and a little of it goes a long way and takes time to dry which means it can be workable for hours or even days after application.
