Mosaic Course – Create a Sphere

Wednesday Evening : 6.30 – 8.30pm  August 21st – September 11th

OR

Thursday Morning : 11am – 1pm             August 22nd – September 12th

This term we are making a mosaic sphere.

We will be mosaicing a 20cm diameter polystyrene sphere which will be suitable as an outdoor or indoor sculpture.

The Mosaic course runs 2 hours per week over 4 weeks, at the following schedule:

Week 1 – develop your design and begin adhering tesserie

Week 2 – continue adhering your design

Week 3 – finish adhering your design

Week 4 – grout and finish project

Course Fee : $185 including all materials and tuition.

Led by experienced artist Dawn Whitehand, during this mosaic workshop we are making a mosaic hanging sphere, which will combine a range of tesserae (mosaic tiles) including pottery tiles, glass tiles, bling, and pretty much anything else you may like to include, so feel free to incorporate your own components.

Each class will run for two hours, and all materials will be provided.
