A Busy First Week of Pottery Classes!

Adults pottery classes began this week for term three, and despite the cold Ballarat weather all the classes were busy and full of creative enthusiasm! Over the break I caught up on most of the firing, and after this first week the shelves are full again!!

Childrens classes start next week. There is definitely a Saturday morning class and the Wednesday afternoon class will depend on numbers. Visit the CLASSES page for more info or the SHOP to enrol.

Hello everyone – I hope everyone had a great Christmas & New Year!

Now that things are settling back down to routine (are they?) I thought is timely to post a reminder about the January School Holiday program – we are making snake pencil holders and monster post. Well that was a whirlwind week for week one of term four – I can’t believe it is almost the end of the year!!

Anyway, here is what students got up to for the first week of making: pinch pots, coil pots and glazing!

I’m a bit slow with this weeks school holiday workshop update – that is because my NBN has been down since last Thursday!! I was doing minimal stuff thinking it would be resolved by now – but NO! So I am now chewing up my mobile hotspot coverage (yes I will be demanding compensation) to share the FAB plates & bowls made during the workshop 🙂

Pottery in Ballarat Term Three – some finished student works

Well we are half way through term three and time is flying!! It has been a great term in both the children’s and adult classes, with lots of creativity happening! As we can see by the great work in progress pics from adults classes:

Well term three is underway, after a snowy start to the term, with adults classes beginning last week and children’s classes stating this week.
